I started Intrinsically Speaking because I believe therapy should feel good — for the child and for the family. Too often children are asked to perform, to sit still, to do it the "right" way. I wanted to build something different. A space — whether that's your living room, your backyard, or your favorite park — where your child gets to just be themselves. Where communication grows naturally, in a place where they already feel safe and loved.

I earned my Master's degree from Nazareth University right here in our community. After more than a decade working with young children, I know that the earlier we support a child's communication, the more profound and lasting the impact. Early intervention isn't just helpful — it's life-changing.

Every child has something meaningful to say — and they deserve to be heard in whatever way works best for them. Whether that's spoken words, signs, a communication device, or something else entirely, I meet every child exactly where they are. No diagnosis, no label, no waitlist should stand between a child and being understood.

I also know that you — the parent — are the most powerful force in your child's development. Every session I provide is built around equipping you with tools, strategies, and confidence to support your child's communication every single day, not just the hours we spend together.
